Daniel Santolo Franco presents Reliquary of a Traveler, a visual reflection on memory, distance, and family heritage.
The project stems from the idea of the reliquary as an object that preserves presence beyond absence — a symbolic container where love, faith, and memories endure despite the passing of time.
Reliquary of a Traveler is both a love letter and an homage by the artist to his family — the Santolo Franco — as well as a tribute to all families shaped by migration and by the transformations imposed by time.
Through his work, the artist explores the fragility and the strength that coexist in departure, the silence between farewells and reunions, and the ways in which love is reshaped when distance moves through our bonds.”
This collection was created from the exhibition held in Barcelona in November 2025 a collective exhibition, titled “From Far, Ara Aquí,” brings together stories from near and far.
