Daniela Suárez explores movement. Her images were taken in transit: during journeys, in unfamiliar cities, on beaches filled with bodies, at tables just abandoned, or in mountains seen from the road. They are not anchored to a specific territory, but to a way of looking: that of someone who lives between places, between languages, between the desire to stay and the need to keep going.
These photographs function like postcards with no sender. They do not say ‘I was here,’ but rather ‘this is what I saw as I passed through.’ They are an intimate cartography of transit: images the artist keeps as one might save a ticket, a handful of sand, or a thought before it disappears.
This collection was created from the exhibition held in Barcelona in November 2025 a collective exhibition, titled “From Far, Ara Aquí,” brings together stories from near and far.
