Jorgelina Zabert presents a selection of photographs that form a diary — a narrative of what endures over time: a physical memory that anchors us to a moment and a place.
This visual diary is an intimate journey through the last nine years of her life, from the moment she migrated — with comings and goings — until her definitive return, when she came back to stay.
“It embraces Argentina, Spain, and Italy; from 2016 to the present. It holds my lifelong family, the new ones I found along the way, and the homes I lived in after so many goodbyes and welcomes stretched across time. An abundance of souvenirs that settle into every part of me.”
This collection was created from the exhibition held in Barcelona in November 2025 a collective exhibition, titled “From Far, Ara Aquí,” brings together stories from near and far.
