Luis is a Berlin-based artist whose latest work explores the interplay of light and color. In this exhibition, he presents five innovative lightboxes that blur the boundaries between art and functional design. These pieces serve as both visual artworks and light sources, transforming the atmosphere of the space with their shifting illumination.
Drawing on his background in architecture and his fascination with translucent materials, Luis’ lightboxes channel the idea of modern stained glass. They diffuse light in unique ways, with subtle color changes depending on the dimming of the light, giving each piece a dynamic, ever-evolving aesthetic.
