I’m Marina Dorgan, an artist currently based in Barcelona, a city that has truly fuelled my creative journey. I returned to painting after years away, rekindling a passion I held as a child. Growing up in a peaceful part of France, I found inspiration in solitude, nature, and the simple beauty of everyday moments. Today, I work primarily with acrylics on canvas, creating art that reflects the essence of femininity, culinary delights, and the ever-evolving world of fashion.
My pieces focus on women in action, capturing their strength, independence, and natural beauty. I love framing them in unposed, intimate moments—letting their authenticity shine through. I aim to move away from traditional depictions of women, celebrating freedom and self-representation instead. Painting is how I express my view of the world, celebrating the small, meaningful moments that shape our lives.
Joining the DARE Collective has been an exciting step for me. It’s a place where I can grow and inspire, while also connecting with other artists who are just as passionate about creativity. I’m excited to keep sharing my work, my perspective, and my love for art with others.
