Martina Orska presents a series of photographs born from the need not lose what she longs for. The artist captures what she once considered everyday and now recognizes as part of her origin. In this act of looking, she weaves together what she remembers with what she does not yet know, with what has already begun to belong to this new place.
Her images become an embroidery: “fragments of what once was, of what exists here, and of what continues to be elsewhere, even if it is no longer there.”
This collection was created from the exhibition held in Barcelona in November 2025 a collective exhibition, titled “From Far, Ara Aquí,” brings together stories from near and far.
