Alei (born in 1997, in Vigo, Galicia) is a visual artist whose style is highly personal, figurative, and expressive. Since childhood, he has shown a natural inclination toward creativity, exploring various forms of artistic expression. His academic background includes a degree and a master’s in architecture, which has provided him with a solid conceptual foundation that significantly influences his artistic process.
Alei’s work is characterized by the use of vibrant colors and bold palettes, strongly influenced by naïve and pop art. This fusion gives his pieces a playful and almost childlike quality, while also expressing a deep reflection on freedom and authenticity. In his search for a world without prejudice, he finds beauty in the imperfect and the spontaneous, using loose strokes and altered lines that challenge conventional proportion and symmetry.
In addition to his work in exhibition spaces, he has brought his art into the textile world, collaborating with brands such as Zara, for which he created a capsule collection for the Kids department, distributed internationally, and his recent collaboration with the Spanish brand NWHR Clothing, thus consolidating his presence at the intersection of art and fashion.
