CINO X FLUID

“TENTACIÓN” Series

In the TENTACIÓN series, Cino presents a visual reflection on desire, willpower, and the seduction of artifice. The figure of the devil— a universal archetype of deception and transgression—becomes here a mirror of human behavior: not an external entity, but an internal choice, a costume we voluntarily put on when we give in to impulses that, although we recognize as harmful, remain irresistible.

Color functions here as a metaphor for temptation: a seductive wrapping that conceals harmful content. Harmonious, bright, and intuitive colors appeal to sensory pleasure, deceiving judgment and instinct. The toxic does not appear as a threat, but as a promise: the trap lies not in what is offered, but in how it is offered.

TENTACIÓN is, ultimately, a study of repetition, disguise, and the fragility of human desire. A series that addresses the viewer with irony, but also with empathy: at some point, we have all chosen to fall.

MAIN PIECE

The main piece consists of 24 canvas-covered panels, each measuring 30cm×30cm, forming a composite work with a total size of 120 cm×180cm. Each panel displays a fragment of the image, emphasizing abstraction and morphological composition, which when assembled together brings the main artwork to life.

Juan Cino’s style emerges from nostalgia. The need to keep his inner child alive has led him to develop an identity defined by the fusion of influences and ideas related to Pop Art culture, the early days of traditional animation, cartoons, and skateboarding culture.

The aim of his work is to provide both himself and the viewer with visual pleasure through harmonious compositions and his characteristic palette of vibrant colors, evoking a feeling of returning to a time romanticized in memory. At the same time, each piece is decoded in response to new contexts and concerns, allowing his works to become amulets both for himself and for those who identify with the message he seeks to convey.

They are energy captured within a physical object… Magic.

Cino arrives in Madrid to present his work at Fluid, becoming the next guest artist to take over the space.

The exhibition will open on March 4, within the context of Madrid’s Art Week. For the opening, the space will come alive with music by DJ Fabinio and a special cocktail created by the Fluid team to accompany the exhibition. Fabinio—already part of Fluid’s DNA—joins the launch as an active presence during the night. Under the concept of Cino’s work, the proposal celebrates a cultural and creative encounter that crosses borders.

Fabinio will also curate the night’s playlist, developing a soundscape aligned with Cino’s visual universe, enhancing the sensory experience and reinforcing the identity of the event.

Over the coming months, the bar will also present Cino’s cocktail: a blend of vanilla, passion fruit, white cacao, white rum, and sparkling wine, conceived as a liquid extension of the spirit of the artwork.
