RIVIERA RECORDS × LUIS WEST

When music becomes color, and space becomes community.

What happens when a record store becomes more than a place to buy music?
What happens when sound, color, and community are allowed to coexist naturally?

At Dare Collective, we believe creative spaces should be lived in not just visited. That belief is what brought us to Rivera Records, Munich, a space where music has always been the heartbeat, and where visual art now becomes part of the rhythm.

Rivera Records is your friendly neighborhood record store — just around the corner.
A space dedicated to carefully selected electronic music, where digging through vinyl is part of the ritual.

Each week, Rivera offers a fresh selection of new and second-hand records, curated with care and deep respect for sound culture. Whether you’re searching for a rare find or discovering something new, the store invites you to slow down and listen.

Headphones are always welcome — bring your own, take your time, and make the space yours.

A living gallery, not just walls. For this winter season, Rivera Records transforms into a living gallery. One where music and visual art coexist, influence one another, and create a multisensory experience that goes beyond the traditional exhibition format.
Each exhibition pairs a local or emerging artist with the store’s musical atmosphere. The walls change, the energy shifts, and the space evolves — just like music does. This is not art as decoration; this is art as part of the environment.

Why Rivera Records?

Rivera Records is more than a record store. It’s a meeting point. A cultural hub. A place where people come to discover music, share wine, attend live sessions, and connect.

For us, it was the perfect partner to continue doing what Dare Collective stands for: supporting local artists, collaborating with local creative industries, and creating spaces where community comes first.

A space to arrive, stay, and return

COLLECTION

After collaborating with Luis West and Rivera Records in Mallorca this summer, one thing became very clear:
there is no better way to explore the relationship between color, music, and place than through his work.

Luis brings bold color, movement, and emotional warmth — work that responds naturally to sound and space. His practice feels alive inside Rivera Records, blending effortlessly with the music playing in the background and the people moving through the store.

And so, this dream collaboration took shape.

The Objective

This project is more than an exhibition. It is an invitation.

An invitation to experience winter not as something cold, but as something warm through color, sound, and shared moments. To step into a space where local artists and local venues support one another, not temporarily, but as part of a growing, long-term creative ecosystem.

It’s about slowing down in a world that moves too fast. Listening closely. Letting music guide you through the space while art surrounds you, shaping the atmosphere and connecting people who might not have met otherwise.
